Soil Nailing Near Historic Building

Ninetimes created this impactful illustration for Paris-based Soletanche Bachy to demonstrate the world class geotechnical contractor's ability to construct critical foundations near historic structures. The scene presents workmen applying soil nails to a new retaining wall with an Italian-made Casagrande Crawler Drill.

The building, wall and Crawler Drill were initially modeled with Maxon Cinema 4D software. All were digitally painted into the scene with Adobe Photoshop. Realistic illustrations of workmen were added with the same software.
